You might belong in Hufflepuff,
where they are just and loyal.
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
and unafraid of toil.

00
[ ]The Kitchen
The Hogwarts kitchens are located directly below the Great Hall and are just the same size. They have high ceilings and a great brick fireplace at on end. Mounds of brass pits and pans are heaped around the walls. There are preparation tables directly below the four house tables in the hall above, and when the time comes for the food to be served, it is magically transported through the ceiling of the kitchen onto the plates. The kitchens are staffed by over a hundred house-elves. To get to the kitchens, take the door to the right of the main staircase in the entrance hall. Follow the corridor until you come to a painting of a bowl of fruit. Tickle the pear and it giggles and becomes a door handle.
00
[ ]Potions Class
Potions are magical liquids created by mixing various ingredients in a cauldron according to very specfic rules. These mixtures must usually be drunk to give their magical effect. 00
[ ]Professor Slughorns Office and Private Stores
If one follows the narrow stone staircase leading from the Entrance Hall to the dungeons, the entrance to Slughorns office is halfway down the cold passageway leading from the foot of that staircase. Slughorns office is adjacent to the Potions classroom, or at least close enough that someone could slip from one to the other without being spotted during a class.

The walls, which are in shadow, are lined with glass jars, including the wall behind Slughorns desk. Each jar contains some potion (differently colored jars) in which suspended slimy bits of some animal or plant (different ones in different jars).
00
Ground Floor
[ ]Caretakers Office
Is a small room with a single oil lamping hanging from the ceiling. It smells of fried fish. In it are filing cabinets with details of then misdeeds of students.
00
[ ]Entrance Hall (1 sub-board)
Double oak doors, opening to the west. Large, cavernous room, lit by torches, with ceiling so high it's barely visible. Wide marble staircase opposite the front doors (east wall) leads up to the first floor. Double doors to the right (south wall) leads into the Great Hall. On the east wall are two doors, one on either side of the staircase. To the north of the staircase is a door leading down a flight of steps to the first dungeon level. To the south is a door leading to the Hufflepuff common room and the kitchens. On the left (north wall) is a door leading to a smaller antechamber where the first years wait to be sorted.

Vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. Four long tables for the four houses. Closest to the doors from the Entrance hall is Slytherin, then Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and next Gryffindor. The teachers sit at the high table, a table on a raised platform at the front of the room. A door behind the staff table allows a person to enter the Great Hall from outside without going through the main entrance.
00
[ ]Staff Lounge
Not to far from the Entrance hall is a long paneled room with mismatched, dark wooden chairs. This would be where the teachers go and relax maybe sometime plan their next lesson. No student can get into this room unless they know the password.

[ ]The Ministry of Magic
The Ministry of Magic is located somewhere just below the surface of downtown London. To get to the Ministry, you must head for an old shabby telephone booth down in a small graffiti filled alleyway. Once you get inside the booth, pick up the receiver, hold it above your head, and dial 6 - 2 - 4 - 4 - 2. After this you will get the receptionist. She first tells you to state your name and business. Then after you tell that, you will get small silver badges that tell your name and business to get into the Ministry. You are then told, if you are a visitor, to submit to a search and present your wand for registration at the security desk, which is the at the far end of the Atrium. Then the telephone booth goes down like an elevator to the Atrium. The Atrium is a very long and splendid hall with a highly polished, dark wood floor.
